Valar ACE series rims are constructed with 24k carbon fiber. Both designs are ultra-light rims designed with high tensile strength carbon fiber at the most crucial points to improve rim stiffness. We use thinner prepregs for better control over the lay-up which in turn offers a consistent rim wall thickness with more layers. These elements produce a lighter weight with improved stiffness over the competition.
Valar ACE series wheelset is assembled with a custom CNC hub with ceramic bearings. The hub driver system is equal to DT Swiss star ratchet system. The TH hub internal technology delivers the highest performance with less maintenance. Our hubs are constructed to provide outstanding durability, and quick engagement under high load capacity in the most severe riding conditions. Routine maintenance is simple and does not require complicated tools. Both of the TH series rim brake hubs and disc brake hubs contain high-quality 6pcs TPI ceramic bearings. TPI ceramic bearing will make your wheels roll faster saving you energy and allow faster cruising speeds. The other apparent advantage of ceramic bearings over steel is that ceramic is harder, resists corrosion, and lasts longer in everyday use.
